The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has introduced Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Workers into the Intermediate Tradesman Collaborative Training Scheme (ITCTS) with a "First-hire-then-train" approach to support employers in training their workers. The training includes: 🔹 2 weeks of preliminary training provided by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction 🔹 4 months of on-site training arranged by the employer Upon completing the training and passing the examination, trainees will be officially recognized as qualified CIPP Workers. Both the employer and trainee will also receive a one-off bonus of HK$10,000 from CIC! This program aims to nurture more specialized talent for the drainage rehabilitation industry. Trainees will not only acquire technical skills and site safety knowledge but also gain the ability to operate advanced computerized machinery.
